One Hail of a Wedding!

Brenda & Jason planned for a perfect day, gorgeous outdoor location in the hills surrounded by trees and fields of grass, the ceremony was to be held at the unique
Petrified Forest with the reception celebration held at the Elk Creek Resort Lodge. Mother nature had a different plan when the day before the wedding rehearsal the storm of the century hit. Pool ball size hail pummeled the ground and broke out windows in everyone's vehicles, with more rain expected for the wedding day. The couple, and their amazing friends and family didn't let this terrible event damper their spirits in any way! The reception location had a large covered porch which fit the rustic theme of the decor. The wedding was beautiful and the couple were married with soft rain making music on the wooden roof and a cool breeze blowing the lovely draping they had added to the end of the porch "just in case". The smiles, laughter and love Brenda and Jason shared during their ceremony were contagious, and even though we were a bit hindered by rain, we managed to create some incredible images that will hopefully bring back happy, joyful memories that last a lifetime when they tell the story of one hail of a wedding!
